  • Miss Faversham's Charity

Each year the reigning Miss Faversham is expected to devote some of her time to raising money for local charities.   The charity is chosen by herself and she will organise events with her friends and family.   Our new Miss Faversham Heather Cumberland has chosen to support local scout groups and she will be announcing her events over the next few weeks.

Over the last few years money has been raised for:

Faversham Cottage Hospital (2 years running a new electric bed was provided by successive Miss Favershams)

Faversham Carnival

Small Bears Preschool

Faversham Parish Church Clock Appeal

Restoration of Salters Lane Football Ground

Umbrella

The Arden Theatre

The British Heart Foundation

St. Mary's Playgroup

Kent Air Ambulance

Demelza House

St John Ambulance

Local sufferers of Cystic Fibrosis

  • Carnival Fundraising

In order to keep the carnival going each year, the Carnival Committee have to raise money through running events such as boot fairs, tombolas, wine and wisdom evenings and others.

Please support as many events as you can to keep the tradition of carnival going throughout the new decade and beyond.
