2026 Carnival

Planning is already underway for the next  illuminated carnival which will take place in the Town Centre on Saturday 17th October 2026, starting at 6.30 p,m.

The line up will be at Jubilee Way and Park Road, from 4.00 pm.    The parade starts from Whitstable Road at 6.30 pm, travelling along East Street, Newton Road, Station Road, Preston Street, Market Street, Market Place, Court Street, Quay Lane, Conduit Street, North Lane, South Road, Stone Street and dispersing in Preston Street.
